Kevin originally started out in the banking industry where he completed his Bachelor of Business (Accounting).
After spending close to 15 years in the bank Kevin then Registered as a Tax Agent and in 1994 began his own accounting practice which subsequently evolved into Kevin P Scambler & Associates.
Kevin has built the accounting practice to primarily cater for individuals, small to medium businesses and property investors and has a diverse range of clients spreading throughout Australia and overseas.
Kevin’s passions include property, camping, motor racing and water sports.
Kevin and his wife Debbie, who also works within the practice, have been living on the Sunshine Coast since 1994.
Debbie has been a bookkeeper since starting work in 1979 and has gained experience in a variety of accounting packages.
Initially Debbie worked within the Legal Industry performing Accounting, Compliance of Trust Accounts and Wages and eventually her role expanded and evolved into the role of Office Administrator.
Debbie joined Kevin in the accounting practice to support him as the Office Administrator which includes maintaining their Financials, Payroll, Human Resources and general office requirements. This enables Kevin to be available to service his clients in his professional capacity.
Debbie is actively involved in netball and also shares Kevin’s passion for property and camping.

Andrew joined Kevin P. Scambler & Associates in 2003 and has over 13 years experience in Public Practice. Andrew doesn’t fit the mould of the stereotypical accountant due to his outgoing personality and various interests in four wheel driving, camping, fishing and sports.
Andrew can help you out in all areas of accounting starting from very basic tax returns all the way up to large scale businesses with complex structures. He is committed to helping his clients obtain the best possible tax outcomes and gives proactive advice for tax efficiency.

Chris has over twenty years experience within the accounting profession including ten years as the Principal of his own accounting practice specialising in the music and film industry.
Originally from Sydney’s eastern suburbs, Chris then discovered the beautiful beaches and natural surrounds of the Sunshine Coast and in 2008 relocated.
The rock and roll experience has moulded Chris into an accountant with an approachable personality, humour and style who enjoys being in the surf or on a bike.
At KPSA Chris brings his significant experience to managing all aspects of privately owned small to medium sized businesses with an extensive knowledge of Income Tax and up to date technologies.

Jaclyn is our new Receptionist/Trainee Accountant. She is currently studying at The University of the Sunshine Coast where she is studying a Bachelor in Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Management and Minor in Human Resource and Small Business Management which she hopes to complete in the next six months.
Jaclyn already has experience in Administration and is keen to develop her accounting and taxation skills by working with our clients to help them understand their obligation and internal practices.
Jaclyn is the welcoming face who will greet you when you come in the door at KPSA and she will assist you with your initial enquiries.
